ABC's and 123's

Today I am not going to post about any of Peyton's "storms". Because honestly there hasn't been any!!!!! But Instead I am going to post about what he has been learning everyday in school. I am amazed! I tried so many times to help him learn his numbers and letters until I was blue in the face. He just looked at me like, Yea right, I have better things to do. He comes home everyday and he tells me what he has learned. He is singing songs about Pumpkins and Halloween and a song I grew up with, don't know the name, but it's the one you use your fingers and sing about where is pinkie,?where is ring finger? You know which one I am talking about? So we sing that one together. I think he thinks that I am super smart because of the look I get when I start singing with him. Kind of like, "How does she know that?" and I get so excited and to see that grin just melts my heart every time.

He goes around the house and points out letters on magazines, the TV, Books, whatever... and tells me what they are and the sound they make. I am just blown away. He is counting too. I never got him to count past 6 even right up to the night before school started. Another thing he has learned to do is write the Letters. I guess they are learning to write their name because he is always writing "L" and "P" . I love it!

He has been having excellent days at school and has been smiling and happy and doing things like cleaning up the Center Room and helping out without having to be told.

You can really tell that the meds that he is taken are working. I am so thankful that we didn't have to go through 15 meds to find the right one like some have had to do.

I am so proud of him = )
